Thanks for being here. I’m an old journalism major who never had the chops for the crime beat or the patience for a city desk. But I love to write though I often butcher the language and ignore many grammatical and stylistic standards accepted as appropriate by those who do it well. I hope to keep the reader up to date on topics in the law but more importantly I hope to bring an anecdotal, maybe even conversational, tone to the page. As many of my friends will attest, I do not shy from what I call significant contention so please comment and challenge the premises if you feel the urge. I assure you I’ll challenge in return.
